Double Lake Camping Time!

We had a fun weekend at Double lake. There was water this time! It was nice taking the canoe out. My friends came up Sat morning and tent camped with us. Carrie is brave being 34 weeks pregnant and tent camping! Joseph and Willum had fun running everywhere and us chasing them the whole time. Joseph had his first experience with a toad, and riding in the canoe. He never touched the toad but really enjoyed looking at it in his bucket. Of course Joseph was saying "Croak, croak" the whole time. Gina and Joseph enjoyed the canoe. Gina even jumped off the side into the lake! We sat Joseph in his booster seat for the ride and he sat there, so relaxed he fell asleep Sat. evening and I put him to bed once we docked. I also let him sit in my lap and put his hand in the water which he loved. We hiked around the lake twice and canoed about 3 times. It was a great weekend and I can't wait to go again, I love my camper! Joseph came home with scratches ALL over him, both knees, both elbows, and the chin. He RAN everywhere this past weekend and it seems like he fell everywhere too. Guess he is all boy!
