Snuggle Bunny

And boy was he a little toot today! My baby is cutting molars and he was in a bad mood all day. I was so glad when he went to sleep tonight :) He loves his soft animals and blankets when he sleeps.
Looks like he is strangling his giraffe to death. Notice the bruise under his eye, that happened in the bath tub on the soap holder. Sleep tight my little poo poo head!

 Dorothy, me, Michelle, and Renee
As most of you know, my latest hobby is scrapbooking and I became an Independent consultant the end of April for Close to my Heart. My Mentor is from Minnesota and she encouraged me to go to the convention in Dallas this year. So 2 weekends ago I took off to Dallas and left the baby with Gigi and tee toe for 2 nights. I had a nice little getaway and met some fun people along the way. I am so pumped about my new business and hobby that all I can think about is my next gathering and when I get to scrapbook! I currently have 3 groups meeting each month and plan to add one more. I believe I'll stop at 4 groups a month, this keeps me one busy mama, but I love it. And I just bought a Cricut! I have no idea how to use it but I see a bright future ahead! And don't forget to shop with me if your needing scrapbook supplies: http://lindseyboeller.ctmh.com/Default.aspx

Twenty one months old

Loves his Mama!

He loves to DIP, even if it's a cracker in applesauce!

He loves his cousins

He knows all of his letters and he can count to 10!

He is keeping a secret from us....

I LOVE this picture!

He can play with water for hours

He blows bubbles

At 21 months old Joseph is so much fun! Just this week he surprised me and counted to 10! I wasn't asking or making him count, but he began counting his cups in the bath and he counted all the way up to 10! I was so excited, I guess all these counting books I've been reading are paying off. He is also in a repeat stage and he will say anything you say. I guess I never knew how much I said "okay" because after Joseph does things he'll say okay and i realized I do the same thing!

He stayed 2 nights with GIGI and Teetoe this past weekend while I attended a scrapbook convention in Dallas. Most of these pictures are taken by my mom. She took the picture of him SUCKING HIS THUMB! Yes, I could not believe he was sucking his thumb! He has never done that, I think the picture is so cute. He had a really good time with my parents and i hope they want to keep him again one day :)

Joseph is really starting to look like a little boy to me and not so much a baby boy. He is officially weaned and is no longer asking for "sleepy" time when we get home. I think the process was harder on me, I'm now on my 2nd round of antibiotics due to mastitis. Not fun.

Joseph no longer likes to sit in his high chair, he is much more happy in me or Joey's lap while we eat. This is not so much fun when you have a toddler touching your food and wanting your drink. He will eat just about anything now, he loves milk and juice and he ate a ton of blackberry's, or as Joseph calls them "black babies" yesterday. He loves Strawbabies and blackbabies. haha He has pretty much tried most all the main foods except shellfish. He loves meatloaf, eggs, all fish, peanutbutter, crackers, applesauce, yogurt, and cheese.

He loves to play outside in the water, blowing bubbles, petting the cat or Gina, and he loves our neighbors big lab, Bronagh. He always asks for Daddy and when is Daddy home. He goes crazy when Daddy gets home from work. He knows it is serious play time.

We laugh at Joseph all the time and am so glad he is ours! He is our silly little baby boy! He'll always be my baby no matter how old he gets.

A little fit before we left in his July 4th get-up

 The DADS
Precious Logan!
I have been so busy with my scrapbooking business that I haven't made time to update the blog! So here are pics from July 4th parade with the McCafferty's. Yes, we spent a few scorching hot hours in the direct sun again this year to watch the parade. I think overall Joseph really liked the parade. Even the LOUD sirens didn't scare him. We saw lots of cars and trucks, big wheels, dancers, puppy's, clowns, and even spiderman. I even let Joseph have 2 Popsicles if you can believe it. Later on in the day we went to our neighbors BBQ where Joseph ate watermelon and played in the kiddy pool. Then me and Joey watch fireworks and Joseph slept right through them :)

Father's Day

Here is baby Joey giving Daddy his card he made. Lots of Car and letter stickers.

oh and a pig sticker, Daddy thought that one was funny.
At church on Father's day I wanted to get a picture of Joey and Joseph by the
statue Saint Joseph. I often think of Mary and how she nurtured and cared for the infant Jesus, so I wanted us to be reminded that Saint Joseph had an important role as Jesus' father.

I made the boys a fruit pizza, Joseph was in heaven and tried to
dip each piece into the cream cheese part. It was too funny :)
