Twenty one months old

At 21 months old Joseph is so much fun! Just this week he surprised me and counted to 10! I wasn't asking or making him count, but he began counting his cups in the bath and he counted all the way up to 10! I was so excited, I guess all these counting books I've been reading are paying off. He is also in a repeat stage and he will say anything you say. I guess I never knew how much I said "okay" because after Joseph does things he'll say okay and i realized I do the same thing!

He stayed 2 nights with GIGI and Teetoe this past weekend while I attended a scrapbook convention in Dallas. Most of these pictures are taken by my mom. She took the picture of him SUCKING HIS THUMB! Yes, I could not believe he was sucking his thumb! He has never done that, I think the picture is so cute. He had a really good time with my parents and i hope they want to keep him again one day :)

Joseph is really starting to look like a little boy to me and not so much a baby boy. He is officially weaned and is no longer asking for "sleepy" time when we get home. I think the process was harder on me, I'm now on my 2nd round of antibiotics due to mastitis. Not fun.

Joseph no longer likes to sit in his high chair, he is much more happy in me or Joey's lap while we eat. This is not so much fun when you have a toddler touching your food and wanting your drink. He will eat just about anything now, he loves milk and juice and he ate a ton of blackberry's, or as Joseph calls them "black babies" yesterday. He loves Strawbabies and blackbabies. haha He has pretty much tried most all the main foods except shellfish. He loves meatloaf, eggs, all fish, peanutbutter, crackers, applesauce, yogurt, and cheese.

He loves to play outside in the water, blowing bubbles, petting the cat or Gina, and he loves our neighbors big lab, Bronagh. He always asks for Daddy and when is Daddy home. He goes crazy when Daddy gets home from work. He knows it is serious play time.

We laugh at Joseph all the time and am so glad he is ours! He is our silly little baby boy! He'll always be my baby no matter how old he gets.
