On July 3rd we took a short trip to the firework stand in the front of our neighborhood. From our house to the Kolache shop takes less than a minute, and we pulled into the parking lot and my nose started bleeding. Always at the most convenient times. I wanted to take pictures of Joseph and Daddy picking out their fireworks :( Instead I was stuck in the truck with Joseph as Daddy ran out and hurried to get a small bag of fireworks for us. And I must mention he had NO napkins or Kleenex, of course I didn't bring my purse, so I was holding my nose with my shirt (it was one of my favorite ones from the Blue Bell 5K yrs ago) We made it home in one piece and my nose finally stopped bleeding, so I took some pics of my Joseph and his fireworks! He loved the poppers and HATED all the others, yep, he was scared to death. We watched most from the window inside.
On Thursday July 4th we were not planning on going to the parade but somehow ended up there. haha, I didn't want to go because it has been SO hot in the past. We lucked out! We found seats near the end of the parade (in the shade!!!) right on the road. Joseph LOVED the parade and still talks about it.
July 4th evening we went to a wonderful dinner at our friends house, John and Verena. Great friends, great food, and cute babies :) John put on a firework show too!
