Spring Break!

SB started out with ICE when we arrived in Corsicana!

Took a little trip to LaVon, TX to spend time with my BFF since 7th grade. She is expecting her 3rd baby soon!

Cousins came to the big city of Houston to visit us. We took a trip to the Houston ZOO!

Spring is here and although I miss my old flowers at my other house and the singing of my beautiful purple martins, I am trying to make my house a home here. Mom came for her week of SB and we planted a bluebonnet garden and another garden with standing cypress, lillies, and a moonflower. Joey will eventually put me a sitting bench in the front and I am slowly putting up some birdfeeders. I won't have purple martins at this location, but maybe I can get some bluebirds at least. So far in my back yard I've seen many bluejays, a Carolina wren, a hawk, mockingbird, and a woodpecker.

We had a nice week off. Joseph and I traveled to Corsicana the Thursday he got out. We got to see Lily in her play "The Little Mermaid".She was beautiful as you can see.

We then took a rode trip up to the Dallas area so I could visit my good friend and her children. Her daughter is my Godchild and I hadn't seen her in a long time. We had a great visit and the kids got along great. She has a 3 yr old,. 2 yr old and one due next month! She's a busy momma. After the trip to LaVon, we spent one more night with my parents then headed home to get ready for my sister to come visit for 2 nights, then my mother came for a week. Between all that I 've had the stomach virus and now I'm pretty sure Joseph has the croup...

Good news is that ever since spring break Joseph has been so good at school. His teachers say he is a different child, every day has been fantastic. He is keeping his hands to himself, using his words to the teacher when he is angry, and just following directions. Thank goodness, maybe something finally clicked in his 4 yr old brain. I was beginning to worry. So let me knock on wood now that I'm telling everyone he's good in school :)
