I woke up on my 28th birthday feeling a bit funny. I managed to make it through the day, even went to Jury Duty. It felt like the longest day of my life. I waited and waited for Joey to get home from his long day at work. So during my day at home, I had actually taken 2 pregnancy tests and both confirmed what I thought...a BABY! I knew I didn't want to tell Joey on the phone, so after the 1st test I went to Target and bought another test (no lines this time, just digital words). While in Target I just couldn't resist going to the baby section...so I bought these little cute newborn shoes and I had a great idea of how I would tell my Joey. I got home, took the digital test, it was positive too...and I wrapped up the little shoes in some purple tissue paper.
When Joey came through that door around 6:15 I was right there and, after he gave me my birthday flowers, I gave him his little gift... he was surprised I bought him a gift on MY birthday. He unwrapped the little shoes and we both had the biggest smile on our faces! I then said, I'm pregnant!

Oh my gosh I love this story of how you told Joey. That is so sweet!!!! You guys are going to be great parents. Can't wait to hear what you are having and what name you've picked out and of course can't wait to see pictures of the little guy or girl :)
