Growing and Growing, that's what I feel like my tummy is doing. According to my books I'm reading the baby weighs about 2.5 pounds and is about 10 inches from crown to rump. Baby's brain can now control the breathing and body temperature. Baby can also cough, and the sucking abilities have been perfected. The baby is able to turn his or her head to find the source of a bright light. Baby is continuing to become more sensitive to sounds, tastes, and smells. The fat layers will continue to form on Baby's body. The head is in proportion to the rest of the body and the eyes can move in the sockets. The bones are fully developed, but they are still soft and pliable. And the baby is beginning to store iron, calcium, and phosphorus.
My lab work came back good for the gestational diabetes test! That is great news! But I'm on Iron supplements because I'm anemic. Other than that, all is well! Tonight, I had a nice dinner with Joey at a Mexican restaurant and had fried ice cream for dessert! Yum! My picture is a little blurry, Joey took it tonight of me by my favorite flower, the Moonflower! This is the most blooms I've ever had at once, I was so excited.
