What is Joseph up to...

Playing in pillows with Dada
Playing with sweetgum balls
EWWW Dada stinks after a soccer game!!
Joseph is everywhere these days!! Being 10 months old really makes a baby and a mommy tired. The biggest news of the week is that he can STAND all by himself!! He will stand then shortly fall to his bottom when he realizes he's holding onto nothing. Other big news is the front tooth growing in! Yep he has a toothy just poking through. I've seen him running his tongue along his gums up top to feel it. He also has climbed 3 stairs! We will be teaching him how to go up and down soon I'm sure. Non-toy items he loves playing with is the plug in baby monitor, daddy's watch, empty milk/juice bottles, boxes, the mirror in mommy's closet, he LOVES the freezer and screams when you close it, the guitar, keys, and sweetgum tree balls. Real toys he enjoys is anything with wheels, books you can touch/feel, puppets, all balls, his gears toy, and the stand up toy with music and lights. I think he has a pretty good attention span as far as reading and playing goes. I hope he doesn't loose that. He is eating a lot these days. I've had to make more porridge for him than usual. I am now adding legumes to all his cereal, this includes lentils and red beans. I need to buy some more kinds. This week we tried natural cheese. He had a hard time getting the little pieces into his mouth, I ended up feeding him most of it, but he did like it. Finger foods Joseph has had include- cheese, whole grain brown rice, avocado, pears coated in flax seed, and teething crackers. I'm slowly getting more brave with the finger foods. He still loves his sweet potatoes and yogurt : ) I'm starting to puree his foods a little less so it has some texture to it. He keeps me laughing with his rumbling and tumbling self. I wouldn't trade him for the world-he is my world! I am so thankful for his health and his smile : )

So sweet. I love babies at this age as they can explore their world more.
