We camped at Huntsville the weekend of January 20th. It was a beautiful weekend and despite a rough check in (that took about 2 hours) we finally set up camp and made our home for the weekend. Of course someone forgot the camera (me) so all the pictures were taken with my phone...Our spot was at the bottom of a hill across the street from the lake. The entire weekend children were riding their bikes and scooters down this hill and Joseph watched them ever so closely. I feel like we need to get him something with wheels he can ride next time we go. He was pretty hard to keep from going into the road, I felt like I chased him just about the whole weekend. We went on 2 hikes and he fell asleep both times, once we tried the moby wrap instead of the stroller, but he's getting to heavy for it. We slept pretty good, he only cried for maybe 5 to 10 minutes before falling asleep and he slept the whole nights through. Gina was a problem the 2nd night. She got sick and actually was sick the entire week afterward. We aren't sure what was wrong, and i was about to take her to the vet but she started eating and drinking again. She vomited for a complete week. Glad she got better cause a sick dog is NOT in out budget...Anyhow we even had a campfire the second night. We started it when Joseph was asleep in his stoller and when he woke up by the fire he just stared and didn't know what to do, so he prayed. Yep, he folded his hands and prayed. LOL He is a character. It was a nice family weekend and we are excited for the next trip!
