The blogger will not separate my paragraphs, so I'm sorry it posts all as one... Weight 33 pounds, 65% Height 38 inches, 66% As Joseph begins his 3rd year, I am happy to say I will be staying at home with him again. I was a stay at home momma for his first 18 mths of life, then I went back to work part time for the next year and a half. Thankfully, after many hard months and many, many migraines we made the choice for me to stay at home again. I had much anxiety about this, but I believe it is the best for our family at this time. I still pray my headaches will go away, something just hasn't been right with my body for the last year and a half. Here's to hoping by me staying at home, my pain will cease. It is hard being a wife and mommy when you feel like the pain never goes away :( enough about me.... Joseph is such a joy! As always he keeps us laughing and he has many a tantrum too. Food: I feel like he eats the same things over and over again because he does... Eggs with kale and cheese, oatmeal with tofu and banana, plain yogurt with tahini and applesauce, raw sunflower seeds with dates, beans, rice, corn, sweet potato frys, cereal-frosted mini wheats, cheerios, rice krispies, crispix, tuna, pasta, spaghetti, raisins, he is on a huge apple kick right now, he wants them all the time. He had a few bites of tamale yesterday :) He won't try new things and he barely eats any veggies :( Oh well, the doc said he is growing great and he is getting enough protein (prob because he would eat eggs for every meal if I let him)Unhealthy stuff he eats is the hot dog weenies, spaghetti O's, tons of Halloween candy that made him constipated, pizza, and granola bars. Favorites: playing with his cars, everything with wheels is his favorite, kicking the soccer ball, reading his books, playing with the marble track, wrestling with daddy and gina, going in his new "fast" stroller, and playing tools with daddy and his motorcycle. He isn't really into crafts but will ask to paint every now and then, he also asks to play "scrapbooking" with me and I let him use my stamps. He started imaginary play and wants his cars to talk to each other, so I am one car and he is another and we play out a scene, usually consisting of the other car going to a car show, or going to Mr. Greg's house where Shauna is. LOL He also likes to pretend he is a character out of his books. The doctor said a 3 yr old can watch 2 hours of screen time a day, this includes tv, phones, and i pads. So if our schedule allows, he will watch sesame street, and/or Thomas the train. He loves watching these shows, and when I tell him to turn it off he will fake cry everytime and then push the power button :) and we move on to the next activity. His Daddy: Joseph LOVES his daddy. Today for nap he asked for his daddy's pillow. I'm not sure where that came from but he is sleeping on it now. In the mornings he will say, Daddy is outside mowing, or Daddy is asleep, I always tell him, no Daddy's at work! He wants to know where Daddy is all the time. At bedtime he only wants his Daddy to read him books, he will tell me to leave, or go "eat lunch" just to get me out of there!! It is so funny and I don't take it personal! Joseph loves working on Joey's motorcycle with real tools. We will ask if we can start it up and Joseph says NO!, it's too LOUD!! He loves when Joey pulls him behind his bike in the bike trailer. I will ask Joseph if I can pull him and he gets all bent out of shape because only Daddy can pull him haha Talking: I really need to start writing down everything Joseph is saying. He talks wonderful and will repeat any word you want him to say. I am currently working on teaching him my phone number. He says the most funny things ! I'll post some soon! I can't believe my baby is 3! It make me sad to see him growing up and not a baby anymore. I've loved every stage with him and although he has had some major melt downs, it's nothing we can't handle! I have taken a break from grocery shopping with him after the last melt down in Kroger... it was the worst ever. Other than that, we are good!
