Been a while

My computer crashed. Joey has been trying to see if my files and pictures are saved. When it crashed I stopped blogging. So instead of playing catch up, I'll just start off where we are as of now. I'm using a laptop we had but not a lot of pictures are on it. So here is whats new.
     First of all, I have started reading 1-2-3 Magic because we need some discipline in this house.  Joseph as a 3 yr old is so much worse that him being 2. I plan to finish the book this week so we can start implementing what I've learned.
     I am really enjoying being at home with him, our morning include playing with cars, working puzzles, playing with legos, dancing, playing outside, stroller rides. and about half of the days he will still take a nap for me.  We attend Nature story time at SpringCreek Nature Center once a month. We currently are not doing a library story time. We had a bad experience about 2 weeks ago and I decided we are going to take a break from it for a while plus we read ALOT to him at home still. I also have a lot of mommy friends I get together with on a weekly basis at parks, play dates, or just in the cul de sak to play :)
     Joseph's diet mainly consists of cereal. He wants to eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner. So I always fix him a bowl of cereal plus feed him whatever else I want him to eat, but he always has to have that bowl of cereal, milk, spoon, and a straw. If you don't give it to him, he will ask you for it in that order. His cereals are: Chex, Frosted Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, Cheerios, Kix and Rice Krispies.  If we come to your house and you have color cereal like fruit loops Joseph will raid your pantry and eat your artificial flavored and Red dye #40 cereal because he ain't getting any from this mama....
     Joseph is potty trained!!! He still wears pull ups at night but he never wets them. He gets up at night to potty and potty's in the morning. I am so proud of this.  I felt like others potty trained to early when their children aren't ready and i saw how hard it was on the parents and I did not want to be like that. Although JOey and I would talk alot about going potty we never pushed him to use the potty because he was kinda scared of it. He came around like the doctor said he would and sure enough he is a pro at pee and pooping in the potty! We gave him m&m's as a treat when he made a pee pee or a poop :) So I guess he did get a little of that artificial color in his diet.
     OkI'll try to keep up blogging now. March is right around the corner I hope all had a great new year!
