Joey got Friday off so we headed to Corsicana for 4 nights. It was a nice getaway. The Boeller's were suppose to come with us, but Randy had a bum knee and ended up having surgery the following Tuesday. They were hyped about a weekend of hunting. So Joey, Russell, and my dad went dove hunting several times and hog hunting. They got ther limit of dove and Joey shot his 1st hog. Yay!
Us women folk plus baby J spent some time together, went swimming and I was able to take Baby J up to mom's school so we could show him off to everyone on Friday. Joseph had fun with his cousins over the weekend.
We did have some sad news, Russell's grandmother passed away the Thursday before we arrived. So Sunday we went to the visitation. Please continue to keep his family in your prayers.
I will probably make another trip to Corsicana next month. Then my parents will be here for Joseph's birthday. So we are looking forwards to upcoming visits!
