Packing up for camping
His favorite person
He doesn't care if it's pink-as long as it has wheels, he'll drive it!
breaking mama's back...
One more month and my baby will be 2! Yikes! I don't like it when people refer to the 2's as terrible two's. I think adults don't realize babies know nothing about the world and it is their first time to experience life! How overwhelming would it be if you are curious, have questions, and can't communicate enough to express what your feeling. I'm happy that Joseph is speaking pretty good to at least let us know what he wants, for example he can tell us when he is hungry, cold, done with something, or thirsty. But other times he cries and will not say anything and I just don't know what he wants or what he is thinking, maybe something scared him or maybe he wants something he doesn't know how to say. I'm not educated on children's development, but I believe with lots of patience and teaching your 2 yr old to communicate with words or signs really helps with the tantrums and the "terrible two" stage. I also believe it is so important to let a 2 yr old run wild and scream loud while playing if they feel the urge, they need to use that energy!! With that said, I'll let you know how our 2's are going in a few months!
Joseph is halarious these days. He loves to sing songs and it is so cute to hear him sing his own words to The wheels on the bus, EIEIO, Mary had a little lamb, and Ring around the rosie. He pretty much talks non-stop. He counts and says his ABC's, he is getting his colors down too. His favorite part of the day is still when Daddy get's home. He enjoy's going to Mrs. Claudia's each morning when I work and he loves "Bear-Bear" their huge lab.
For the first time, I saw him not sharing with a friend we had over to play. He only does this at our house. When we play at other's homes he usually always shares (unless it is a big car you sit on, he wants the car and no one else can touch it)
He is a pretty picky eater now and only eats the same things over and over. Daily he eats 2 eggs w/brocolli, oatmeal, peanut butter, yogurt w/tahini, applesauce, banana, prunes, crackers and dry cereal. This pretty much is his diet for now. I offer him whatever we eat, but he'll usually take a few bites of meat and he's done. He will not sit in his high chair for long periods. He will begin dinner in it, then say he's all done even when he is still eating. We let him down then he plays and runs up to us for bites like a little birdy. He can't sit still in his high chair long enough to eat a full meal anymore.
I'd love to write more but I have things to do (scrapbook:) while my little man is sleeping. He is sick with allergies and on antibiotics for the next 9 days. Monday we see Dr. Roy and then if the weather is nice ,we're going to head to the Zoo for the first time!! He will love it! Ta ta for now!
