A Stinky Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year with our little skunk! The weekend before Halloween we took Joseph to
our friends church for "Trunk or Treating". There he dressed up as a skeleton, but on Halloween night he was a skunk. At the trunk or treat one trunk was giving out mini cupcakes, you know I never give Joseph sweets, but he cried because he wanted one, so we gave him one. He help on to that cupcake for a good hour, even bouncing in the jumpy house holding onto it. Everyone was watching him and complementing on how he could tumble, jump, and fall down, but he never let go of that cupcake or even got icing anywhere in the bouncy house. He finally tasted that icing and he ended up eating it. They also had a hay ride that he LOVED. He is obsessed with trucks and trailers right now. We had to wait in line for our turn and everytime the truck would come through and pick up other riders with out us, he would have a hissy fit. We had to explain that it would be our turn soon. We had some problems getting him off the hay ride once we got on too. But we managed!

On Halloween we took him and GIna trick or treating just up the rode. We only stopped at houses where the people were outside. It was a lot of fun, but Joseph was called a girl several times!! I just cringed when someone would refer to him as a "she" and he even got called a little princess once! yikes! I think it was the skunk's bowtie maybe that made people think he was a girl. NExt year maybe we will be something a little more manly.
