VERY rainy camping weekend

We headed to Hunstville State Park with some friends for the weekend about 2 weeks ago. We thought about cancelling because of the rain, but we only camp with these friends about once a year and didn't want to miss it. It wasn't a normal camping trip for any of us, we didn't go far from home because a friend had passed away tragically and Saturday morning all the guys attended the funeral together. Us mom's stayed and tended to the children. So Joey was away until about noon on Saturday, but it rained all afternoon so we just rested and napped in the camper. The rain broke just enough so we could have a cook out for dinner with everyone and a campfire. THen once the electricity went out Saturday night, we called it a night and it rained some more and even as we left the next day. Not my ideal weather for camping. So besides Joseph standing in an ant bed right when we got there, the rain all weekend, Tony's funeral, and no electricity Saturday night, we are glad we went. As our good friends were mourning the loss of their very close friend, it was nice to have our own friends next to us and listening to the children laughing and playing made it all worthwhile. 

Please pray for the soul of Tony and for peace as his parents struggle to live life without their son.
