Celebrate at the ZOO

Here he is relaxing before he saw any animals

First stop, the petting Zoo at the barnyard. There were little brushes and he gave each goat ONE brush. Yes, one brush and then he moved on to the next goat.

He loved this machine at the barnyard. You press the red button and it made the animal sound. There was an empty cage behind this machine and everytime Joseph pushed the button he would go look in the cage for the animal, it was so funny. He did NOT want to leave this machine and we had to coax him away...

 He loved these drums !

The giraffes scared him a little but as long as Daddy was holding him he was ok. He did not take his eyes off of him though!

Joseph really enjoyed watching this otter swim back and forth in the water.

The elephants were up close and personal. We saw 2 babies and mommys. They loved the hay!

Joseph crawled through a tube that sent him within a large aquarium. He LOVED this, he wouldn't let any other children crawl through and then he wouldn't come out. So yes, Mommy had to get in this STINKY tube and drag him out. Then I stood up too soon and hit my head on the rock ceiling, it hurt like the dickens.

We met a dinosaur too.

After our good news at Dr. Roy's office, we planned an evening at the zoo! I was SO excited about the zoo and couldn't wait to see Joseph's reactions at all the animals. I think we covered the whole Zoo except the seal and panda bear. Those will have to wait until next time. My favorite was the elephants and I think his favorite was the barn yard! We were there from 3:30 until 7pm. I think we got our money's worth, all 3 of us had a great time!
